Our Mission
The Southwest Regional (SWR) Youth Department will use innovative methods to ensure that our youth become valued resources to their families, churches, and communities.
We will teach them how to become self-sustaining productive citizens. This department will pursue financial resources that will allow us to cultivate opportunities for the SW Regional youth to become economically empowered and producers of jobs in the body of Christ, without compromising Godly principles, producing law-abiding outstanding youth to become agents of change in our church and society .
Our Vision
It is the goal of the Southwest Regional Youth Department to enhance the lives of its members, naturally and spiritually, thereby equipping them to successfully confront their present challenges, and those in the years to come.
This goal will be achieved by producing informative and innovative techniques via Regional rallies, designed to address the existing issues concerning our youth, and their current circumstances.
Our Objective
The SWR Youth Department
will perpetuate equipping ministry of excellence to prepare our youth for region-wide ministry. Each and every member will function as concerned, skilled , youth leaders to carry out the vision of our department, and enable our youth to live Godly and fulfilling lives. The Regional Youth Department is a vibrant training auxiliary that exist to equip our youth with the necessary training to live prosperous and victorious lives in Jesus Christ.

- Education Identify and continue to make available programs that focus on YMOV and YWOE. In the long term, we will witness visible transformation within families and SWR community as the Youth are empowered with the ultimate prerequisite to succeed and emulate SWR Youth Leaders.
- Economic Development Identify and make available resources that result in new jobs being created, and provide job training within your local community. In the long term, I believe that we will witness visible transformation within families and the SWR Youth community as individuals are given the means and the tools to achieve a living wage.
- Crime Reduction Identify and make available programs that reduce crime and lower recidivism rates for past offenders. As we partner with the local police depts., County Sheriffs offices and the Department of Drug Enforcement, we will continue to address how we prevent crime within the teen population and also witness visible transformation within the SWR Youth Family.
- Family Life Identify and make available programs that focus on improving the quality of life within the nuclear family. In the long term, I believe that we will witness visible transformation within families of the SWR Youth community as men, women and children are given the tools to achieve a thriving, productive, wholesome, spiritual family environment.
- Financial Literacy Identify and make available programs that result in enlightened individuals who Earn, Save, Invest and Spend Wisely (Dave Ramsey, Financial Peace University). In the long term, I believe that we will witness visible transformation within families and the SWR as individuals learn to develop and execute sound long-term financial plans focused on creating, growing and managing wealth.

MEET OUR PRESIDENT
Evangelist, President Tahaiti L. Tinsley
The Ministry of Evangelist Tahaiti L. Tinsley has been identified as anointed, innovative, trendsetting and compassionate. Evangelist Tinsley is an Evangelist in the Lord’s church called to minister to this present world through the power of the Holy Ghost. Evangelist Tahaiti Lavette Tinsley was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. While stationed in Guam, Micronesia, Evangelist Tinsley accepted Jesus as personal Savior. What a miracle! After returning to the United States, she joined the Pentecostal Experience Church of God in Christ, in Escondido, California. Her formative years of ministry were with this fellowship of believers and in 1996, she received her Evangelist Missionary license from the late Mother Elizabeth Nash, (Southern California Second Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women).
Evangelist Tinsley is a hard-working member of the Church of God in Christ on local, district, jurisdiction and international levels. Evangelist Tinsley is a faithful member of the Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ. Evangelist Tinsley received her spiritual training for servant leadership under the life-changing ministry of the late Dr. Vernon and Evangelist Fredonia Cooper. Her local church commitments include but are not limited to: bible study coordinator, member of the ministerial staff, praise and worship leader and youth advisor to the Glory of God! Evangelist Tinsley serves in the Southern California Second Jurisdiction, under the anointed leadership of Jurisdictional Prelate/General Board Member, Bishop George Dallas McKinney and Supervisor of Women’s Department, Mother Gloria Lynch.

God is in love with you, and when he thinks of you it brings him joy.
It was his good pleasure to create each of us, and he created us so he could love us and his glory could shine through us. He chose you and I “in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight” (Ephesians 1:4 NIV).
In his love, he determined to adopt us into his family, and, even then, he planned for our redemption through Jesus’ blood, bringing “the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on [us] with all wisdom and understanding” (Ephesians 1:7–8). Thats REAL JOY!
